Adopting a Peke is fairly simple.

We do all we can to see that each Peke is taken to the vet, have their shots, heartworm test and a spay/neuter. Some of the dogs go to the groomer and have a dental, depending on condition.

1. We send an adoption application via email or postal mail to anyone interested in adopting. IT TAKES TIME TO GO THROUGH ALL THE APPS AND REFERENCES WE GET! PLEASE REMAIN CALM!! IF YOU TAKE UP OUR TIME ANSWERING ALL YOUR MESSAGES ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON, IT WILL TAKE EVEN LONGER TO GET THROUGH THE APP!! You are free to ask questions about the app in a calm and respectful manner. RUDE PEOPLE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!
2. If the app check goes well, we do a home visit to make sure that the home is safe.
3. If we feel confident that this is the right home for our Peke, then the adoption is made final. You will sign a law abiding adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. NO, DOGS ARE NOT FREE. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD THE ADOPTION FEE, YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO PROPERLY CARE FOR A DOG! DON'T ASK, NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE!
4. CONTACT IS BY EMAIL!

To Glenda: I know the pain of losing such a dear friend, as I lost my special girl in October. I hope you and your husband have found another love. And while we all know that no dog could ever replace the special ones we have lost, there always is room in our hearts for another peke love. They are such wonderful dogs and family members. I wish you all the best and my heart goes out to you.
My husband and have bee peke owners foe about 20+ years. We just recently had one to pass her name was desitny and she was 12 . She has been missed this month as we just lost her on july 14th 2015. I am looking for another as NOONE can take Destiny's place there is love in my heart and always will be for a Peke. We hav e 2 other little girls who I think is missing also. You do great work and give a lot of your time, money and heart to rescue these wonderful dogs. Once a peke wends its way into your heart, I think you love them forever. Thank you for all you do for this precious and special breed.

I'm signing in here so I can keep up with Pekes who need a home. We saw Pearl on Facebook and I've been a Peke lover and owner my entire life. We have room in our hearts and our home for another Peke. We have one that was a rescue and we have a Black Lab that was also a rescue over 7 years ago.

We had two Pekes for over 13 years who were our life, sadly they have passed and crossed Rainbow Bridge but are still in our hearts.
